It's funny, seeing like... the "here's all the secondary canon details you've missed" posts start floating around dash. Understandable, and tbh I've picked up on bits and pieces over the years just by virtue of following people who post about different things. Read 1 of the "where did the companions appear before" summaries, just to see - and I'm relieved that most of them are brand new or only appear in relatively short stuff.

Inquisition's reliance on secondary canon stories is one of its biggest weaknesses imho. And, tbh, I AM in fact gonna deliberately not "catch up". AFAIC, its a hallmark of good video game if it doesn't require knowledge from secondary sources for the story to be told.

I have read Last Flight - hello, griffons!! Wardens!! - but that's it. I can't be said to be going in unaware of the Other Stuff (unlike with DAI, where I barely knew about even the earliest novels, let alone the ones most relevant to DAI). But dangit, I am gonna be particular about this lmao.

it was very hard to come up with something that was reasonably in theme and looked good enough, especially with limited resources like I have. no prime items, no tennogen, only free items and what's available to buy with plat from the customization screen.

yeah so the thing is: drifter fashion in this game is REALLY lacking imo. the operator's been here for quite a while now so they've had more time to get fit releases and prime access items, so I really hope the drifter gets the same treatment with time. (the Liger Inuzuka designs fucking SLAP tho)

I am SO looking forward to whatever the new 1999 themed tennogen artists bring. I think it'll elevate the look a lot more.

it's also almost impossible to make a fully androgynous drifter, as the female faces are extremely feminine and the male faces are extremely masculine. voice doesn't matter since you can put any voice on any face. but that's just me being a little bitch tho, it doesn't really matter.
